Every year, among the most common resolutions is the one concerning weight loss. Although most people have dropped their resolutions by this time, for some, the journey continues. For those serious about losing a substantial amount of weight, rounding the home stretch can mean a totally changed appearance. For some, this is welcome news. For others, not so much.
When the Elasticity is Gone
Younger people who go through substantial weight loss may find their facial features greatly enhanced. Cheekbones are more prominent, eyes look bigger and brighter and jawlines are more enhanced. Younger skin still has plenty of collagen and elastin to keep facial skin smooth and taught. Older skin is not as resilient.
