Advanced Rhinoplasty Procedures
Every “nose job” should be tailored to the patient which is something Dr. Evan Ransom excels at achieving. Our patients that are interested in rhinoplasty want a nose that still looks natural but is altered for aesthetic appeal. Dr. Ransom uses the latest advances in facial plastic surgery to perform a variety of rhinoplasty procedures, including both open and closed methods.
Open rhinoplasty is used for nose shaping and resizing that may need more precise techniques. During this surgery, an incision is made between the two nostrils to access the nasal tip and other structures in the nose. For closed rhinoplasty, the incision is made within the nostril, hiding it from view. While the closed procedure can be used to make small changes to the bridge like removing a dorsal hump, it is not recommended for revision or more complicated nose reshaping procedures.
