Many of our patients come in specifically for nasal tip reshaping. This aspect of rhinoplasty surgery is focused on the tip of the nose.
When nasal tip reshaping is the goal during your rhinoplasty procedure, your surgeon will most likely be implementing the open rhinoplasty technique. This incision technique is perfect for affording your surgeon access to the nasal tip cartilage. Once access has been created, it will be easier to see the exact nature of the issues. The nasal tip cartilage will then typically be carefully altered to resculpt the tip of the nose.
