Dr. Evan Ransom offers a variety of chemical peels. One of the more popular skin-rejuvenation options is the trichloroacetic acid peel, otherwise known as the TCA chemical peel.
TCA chemical peels are the option most commonly used by Dr. Ransom. They are designed to exfoliate dead and weathered skin cells to reveal a fresh layer that looks smooth and renewed. These treatments can also diminish acne scars and even out skin tone and complexion.
These peels come in different strengths depending on the desired depth of the peel, and their strength is determined by their concentration.
Mild chemical peels do not require a great deal of recovery time, and the procedure itself generally takes about 45 minutes. This skin treatment is recommended for all forms of hyperpigmentation, in addition to its other uses mentioned above.
Dr. Ransom personally administers his own peels to achieve the best results possible.
